Roy Mankovitz received his undergraduate
degree in science from Columbia University
with a focus in electrical engineering, and he
also holds a doctorate in law.
In his science career, he designed unmanned
spacecraft control systems for lunar and
Mars soft landing spacecraft and deep space
probes, was a member of NASA’s Jet Propulsion
Laboratory Advanced Technical Studies
group, and has several NASA publications in
the field of rocket science.
He is a prolific inventor, with more than sixty
U.S. patents, several of which are in the field
of health. In the field of law, he has had an
illustrious career as an intellectual property
attorney specializing in patent, trademark
copyright and licensing matters.

As an entrepreneur, he has been the founder,
cofounder, officer, and director of a diverse
group of successful companies, some of
which are now publicly traded. He is on the
advisory board of many organizations and
nonprofits in the field of health, and has been
the benefactor and moving force behind university
research projects in the area of illness
prevention.
Health and the prevention of illness been his
passion for the last twenty years, and he holds
several certifications in the fields of nutrition
and alternative health. This book represents
the culmination of his research in these areas,
where he challenges virtually all of the
underlying research and cherished assumptions
in these fields, demonstrating that being
healthy is not rocket science!
He lives in Montecito, California, with his wife
Kathleen and their two Tonkinese cats, who
incidentally have been tenth-generation bred
in accordance with the fundamental precepts. |
